Bobby capped off a grueling week at Volusia (FL) Speedway Park with a surge of momentum, recording three podium finishes during the final three nights of the DIRTcar Nationals.
Bobby’s week-long campaign began with three DIRTcar-sanctioned events. After starting ninth and advancing to a seventh-place finish on opening night, Bobby followed with a solid 10th-place run Tuesday after rolling off 17th. Wednesday night proved more challenging, as he started 13th and crossed the line in 16th.
As the week transitioned into the World of Outlaws-sanctioned portion of the program, Bobby and his team found their stride in a big way.
Starting 10th on Thursday night, Bobby wheeled his No. 32 forward seven positions to claim his first podium of the week with a third-place finish. He backed it up with an equally impressive drive on Friday night, charging from the 21st starting position all the way to third.
Bobby saved his best performance for the finale.
Taking the green flag from the 19th position, he methodically worked his way toward the front in the 50-lap main event. Navigating traffic, Bobby climbed 17 spots to finish second, narrowly missing out on the victory while securing his third consecutive podium finish to close out the week. The run earned hard charger honors and showcased his trademark ability to slice through the field.
The late-week surge highlighted the team’s persistence and determination, rebounding from early struggles to become one of the fastest cars on the track by the conclusion of the event.
