Bobby continued his red-hot 2025 campaign Friday night at Sharon (OH) Speedway, delivering a dominant flag-to-flag performance in the Battle at the Border. Driving a brand-new car nicknamed “Nitro,” Bobby led all 40 laps to claim the $12,000 payday in the World of Outlaws Late Model Series event.
Starting from the pole, the “Smooth Operator” wasted no time putting the field behind him, building a commanding 7.3-second lead at one point. Even through traffic, Bobby never flinched, keeping his momentum up and his new Longhorn Chassis out front. He crossed the line with a 5.1-second advantage to secure his seventh WoO win of the season and the 20th overall victory of his 2025 season.
“This is what we do it for, to get these wins,” Bobby said in victory lane. “Lots of long hours in the shop this week for sure. It’s awesome to take a brand new car out and be fast with it. I got to give a huge thanks to my guys — Austin, Justin, Darien, Jeff. They worked really hard lately. Huge thanks to my dad with his sore knee. He’s powering through. All you fans, thank you.”
The win was not only Bobby’s third in a row at Sharon but also his 38th career World of Outlaws Late Model Series victory, tying him for seventh on the tour’s all-time wins list.
