Bobby led from start to finish Friday night at Atomic (OH) Speedway, securing his 30th feature win of the season and 30th career World of Outlaws Series victory. Starting from the pole in the 40-lap race, he built up a lead, only to have it erased by six cautions that slowed the event.
“It’s really nice to have things go our way tonight,” Bobby said. “I felt like when we were leading, it was good enough to keep our distance from (Shirley), but I don’t feel like I was the best car tonight. I was really struggling through turns one and two. It was a demanding racetrack, especially tough through lap traffic. But it feels great to win and get my 30th with the Outlaws. That’s incredible, so hopefully, we can reach 100—or even more than that.”
