Taking the lead on the 30th lap, Bobby stayed out front for the rest of the 40-lap race to claim the $15,000 XR Super Series Yankee Dirt Track Classic prelim on Friday night at 300 (IA) Raceway. “It’s awesome to get the win tonight,” Bobby said. “We didn’t have a great start. Our qualifying was a little off, and in the heat race, we were way off. I think it took the track prep for it to come around. It really made it racy with the top and the bottom.”
