Taking the lead after a restart on lap 34, Bobby stayed out front for the rest of the 40-lap distance to capture the $15,000 XR Super Series victory Sunday night at Clay County (IA) Speedway. “Wow, what a race,” Bobby said. “I was worried about the track being too hammer down, but it really came around in the feature. Could race all over, top and bottom. I tried to dip below (O’Neal) and hoped he was going to go in there for a slider line again. It stuck really good on the bottom, got under him, and got a good exit off (turn) two. And from then on, it was just nail the slider in turn four and try to stay ahead. Big thanks to my crew; we’ve been racing almost every day and they keep working their butts off. Thanks to my family, sponsors, and fans.”
