Bobby came out on top and banked $25,000 after a thrilling finale to the Wild West Shootout at Vado (NM) Speedway Park on Sunday night. He started outside of the front row in the 50-lap race and traded the lead back and forth with Davenport early. After losing the lead in the middle stages, Bobby never gave up and retook the top spot on lap 43. The final seven laps were crazy with slider after slider being thrown between Bobby and Larson in a race that will be talked about for a long time. “That was so much fun,” Bobby said. “Kyle raced me so clean. It takes a guy like that to know exactly where he’s gonna put his race car and know exactly where I’m gonna put my race car afterwards. This place has become a very, very good racetrack.”
