Bobby seized control with an outside pass on the sixth lap and led the rest of the way as he picked up his ninth World of Outlaws Series win of the season in the opener of the Quad Cities 150 Thursday night at Davenport (IA) Speedway. Starting third in the 35-lap race, Bobby fell back at the start before making his charge to the front. “I was a little worried in the beginning,” Bobby said. “I fell back to like fifth or sixth. I don’t know if I missed turn one or what. I didn’t want to jump up top that soon, but we did what we had to do. We got up on the wheel. It went caution-free. And got it done.” His sixth consecutive victory extended his series points lead to 122.
