After a back-and-forth battle of sliders, Bobby had to settle for a runner-up finish Saturday night at Maquoketa (IA) Speedway. After starting fourth, he quickly jumped to second and followed the leader on the top side of the track lap after lap as they both maneuvered through lapped traffic. With four laps remaining, Bobby took the lead, but before the lap could be counted, a caution came out relegating him back to second. “Heck of a race, exchanged a lot of sliders,” Bobby said. “Was so close to picking up the first win of 2020 yet again. Maquoketa turned out to be a racy place. Track #120 for me.” — Mike Ruefer Photo
