Bobby started seventh in the Show-Me 100 crown jewel race Saturday night at Lucas Oil (MO) Speedway, a race that he won a year ago. He moved up to fifth by lap 24 and stayed within the top five throughout the remaining distance riding the rim. With 20 laps to go, he moved into second and set his sights on the leader. The last caution of the race on the 81st lap bunched up the field one final time and gave Bobby the chance he needed, but he didn’t quite have enough on this night as he lost a couple of positions late to finish in fourth. “We had some carb issues or we feel like we could’ve been even better,” Bobby said. “Still a good run for our team! So proud of the direction this team is headed!” — Heath Lawson Photo
