Bobby grabbed the lead on the opening lap from his outside front row starting position and stayed out front for the entire 40-lap distance as he picked up his 19th career UMP Summer Nationals victory and first of the 2017 tour Thursday night at Kankakee. “It feels so great,” Bobby said. “Every year I just want to win as much of these as possible. All these tracks are so close to home and they fit my driving style most of the time. I just really love coming to all these little tracks, up on the wheel … it’s a lot of fun.” — Jim DenHamer Photo
