Late Race Wreck Foils Solid Start at Eldora

The bad luck that potentially cost Bobby a win in the last crown jewel race continued Thursday during opening night of the Dream at Eldora. Starting tenth in the $5,000 to win preliminary feature, Bobby was charging to the front and was running fourth with four laps to go when the second place car blew a tire and slowed in front of him. With nowhere to go, Bobby sideswiped him and just like that his race was over. The team can take solace in the fact that the car is fast…just need to shake off the bad luck.
