19th to 8th at Knoxville Nationals

Bobby started 19th in the 100-lap Knoxville Late Model Nationals main event Saturday night and just like he did the previous two preliminary nights he charged through the field to score an eighth-place finish. He moved up from his 24th starting position to finish eighth in the 25-lap preliminary feature Thursday night. On Friday night, he picked up another eighth-place finish in the 25-lapper, this time rallying from 18th.
