Bobby led for 38 laps Friday night at Ponderosa (KY) Speedway but had to settle for second after getting passed late in the 50-lap race. He lost the lead at the start from his outside front row starting position before taking over the top spot on lap eight. He built up an over four-second advantage at halfway but couldn’t hold the lead after multiple cautions and a brush with the yuke tire. “I made a costly mistake and hit that tire,” Bobby said. “I’m really glad we finished second. If a caution would’ve came out, a restart would’ve been tough. Had an awesome car tonight and another great finish for my team.”
