Bobby seized control on lap 21 and cruised through the final 30 laps to capture his fifth World of Outlaws Series win of the season on Saturday night at I-94 (MN) Speedway. Starting third in the 50-lap race, Bobby moved up to second on lap 17 and got his momentum going on the top as he ran down Erb for the lead in traffic. Using a lapped car as a pick, Bobby grabbed the top spot down the backstretch as he entered turn three on lap 21. “Dennis (Erb) was really a sitting duck,” Bobby said. “I know Dennis can rip the lip, but he likes to run the bottom. At the time, the top was really good, and I was like, just stay down there, and he did.” From there, he built up an over three-second advantage at the checkers. This was his first visit to I-94, but it reminded him of another track that he has had success at in his career. “I noticed right away it was going to be a fun track, and I feel like this track fits me,” Bobby said. “This place reminds me of Florence. I knew these boys were in trouble tonight if we hit our marks. It was a fun race.” Bobby extended his series points lead to 52 points.
